Sakham
sakham is a small hill station in kalimpong district state west Bengal India. its near the northeast frontline hill village,Thear was a small hydro electric project situated in three megawatts hydro electricity produced capacity under the state electric board . and a good picnic spot near the newra river and the project is on the newra river, small but very beautiful and refreshing weather on the lap on Himalayan mountain range. And a very beautiful belay bridge constriction over the river and its main attraction point in this aria and so many crowd went there for doing picnic in the month of December to January in every year. some image I attach.

And this is the water collecting structure for produced electricity its near 1 kilometer upside from the main turban house and its collecting water and send through big drain in to the turban house for making electricity.
Direction To reach sakham their was three road from Siliguri one is via gorubathan and mission hill its near about 75 km and second is via malbazar songachi tea garden its also near about 80 km and the last one is via chalsa meteli samsing sundari basti and its near about 90 km from Siliguri their was so many taxi are available and some buses are runing chalsa route but its better to take a privet taxi. rent approximately 2500 to 3000 Indian rupees.
food and lodging In sakham basti their was no hotel for stayed but food are available mostly noodles' and moomos are available and if you want to stayed theair then some home styed faccilities are available in sundari basti and samsing its near 5 kilometer from the sakham station and the charg are not so high about 500 to 800 Indian rupees per head with food .
Lastly i suggest its a very good hill station for time spend and best place for traveler .
